Y'all know I love pets, but I'm highly allergic so I don't have any at home. My neighbors take pity on me and let me visit their animals, but nothing makes me happier than snuggling with a litter of puppies. 

Looks like I hit the jackpot this time. Yes, that's 11 puppies.

I still have single-pane windows so they don't insulate well in the winter. I hate to do restrict the light and view from the kitchen window so I drape a fleece blanket between the window and drapes at night. Makes a big difference.

Every year since 2000, the Pantone Color Institute has declared a particular color "Color of the Year". The Pantone Color Matching System is a standardized color reproduction system, allowing different manufacturers in different locations to refer to the Pantone system to make sure colors match without direct contact with one another. It affects many aspects of design worldwide, digital and analog.
