Anyone who has a restaurant knows they can get their menu online-for a price. Usually, that cuts into profits that are already slim. OpenMenu has a free, as in absolutely-free-to-use-and-no- contract-or-credit-card-required solution. You can add premium features, such as online ordering and other stuff, but your potential customers can find you, your menu and your prices online, even on phone. For free.

I built and maintain a menu for China Wok in Llano and update it regularly. They have been such good friends and an integral part of the community, I hope they are here forever!

I still have single-pane windows so they don't insulate well in the winter. I hate to do restrict the light and view from the kitchen window so I drape a fleece blanket between the window and drapes at night. Makes a big difference.

Pantone's Color of the Year

Every year since 2000, the Pantone Color Institute has declared a particular color "Color of the Year". The Pantone Color Matching System is a standardized color reproduction system, allowing different manufacturers in different locations to refer to the Pantone system to make sure colors match without direct contact with one another. It affects many aspects of design worldwide, digital and analog.
